Control and integration planning
Motorized Blinds for Smart Home Integrators
Select the blind, motor, controller, gateway and interface as one documented project configuration. Saiwenna supports integrators, automation companies and project buyers with product selection, control-path review, sample discussion and quotation preparation.
- Integration principle
- Separate direct motor functions from gateway- or interface-based functions
- Mapping basis
- Product, motor, controller, gateway, account/region and commissioning scope
- Project inputs
- Opening schedule, wiring/power, functions, protocol path and responsibility matrix

Planning requirements
Define the application before choosing the shade
Product and motor pairing
Roller, zebra, curtain-track and other selected systems require a compatible motor path for the requested functions. Product and motor availability is confirmed configuration by configuration.
Control path definition
RF, wired switch, selected Tuya Wi-Fi/Tuya Zigbee, RS485 or dry-contact paths can be discussed only where the mapped motor/controller/gateway supports them.
Third-party coordination
KNX is project-specific. Matter requires selected mapped models. BMS or other third-party integration is project-specific and must define interfaces and commissioning responsibilities before quotation.
Motor and control direction
Map functions to a documented configuration
RF is available only on selected configurations. Tuya requires the selected motor, controller or gateway plus compatible account and region. Zigbee is configuration-specific. RS485 and dry contact require selected interfaces. KNX is project-specific. Matter requires selected mapped models. Any third-party control path must be confirmed against the exact bill of materials and responsibility matrix.
- Product type and opening schedule
- Width, height, quantity and mounting
- Power and wiring plan
- Required RF/app/protocol functions
- Controller, gateway, account and region
- Installer, integrator and commissioning responsibilities
Working control brief
Freeze the Integration Responsibility Matrix
Identify who supplies the motor and controller, who provides power and wiring, who selects any gateway or actuator, and who programs, tests and commissions the project. Record those decisions before quotation.
Use the existing Motor & Control Integration Center route above to separate documented native paths from controller, gateway and project-specific paths.
Application evidence
Use visual references to discuss the actual opening

Opening and shade selection
The physical system, mounting and repeated-opening schedule remain the starting point for integration planning.

Component and interface review
Track or shade hardware, motor, controller, gateway and installation responsibilities should be reviewed together.
Quotation preparation
Turn project inputs into a reviewable schedule
- 01
Define required functions
Document room, zone, group, scene, feedback and third-party requirements.
- 02
Map the exact configuration
Match product, motor, controller, gateway and interface to documented availability.
- 03
Review samples or test items
Discuss sample configuration and evaluation responsibility before scale-up.
- 04
Freeze the responsibility matrix
Confirm supply, installation, wiring, programming and commissioning scope.

Integrator project intake
Send a Control Brief That Can Be Reviewed Without Assumptions
Opening and product
Project type, number of openings, product family, opening schedule, drawing/BOQ availability and project stage.
Power and control path
Known motor, available power, control platform, requested interface, required commands, feedback and any selected gateway or controller.
Responsibility and validation
Bench-test requirement, target date, commissioning responsibility, and who supplies, wires, programs, tests and accepts each interface.
RF, app, dry-contact, RS485, KNX, BMS and third-party paths remain selected-configuration or project-specific review items. Listing a platform does not establish a partnership or confirm it for an unreviewed configuration.
Project review
Send the opening schedule and required control path together
Final recommendations depend on the actual opening, selected product, fabric, mounting condition, power availability, control method, quantity and destination.
