Quotation Prepared
Multi-System Shading Engineering for a Dubai Residence
A private residential project team supplied a multi-floor design package for window-treatment coordination in Dubai. Saiwenna reviewed the interior, architectural and MEP inputs, organized the requirements by opening and prepared a mixed-system preliminary configuration and quotation. The verified project stage is quotation prepared; this is not presented as a delivered or installed project.
Project Stage
Verified stage: Quotation Prepared. The evidence supports engineering review, specification preparation and quotation preparation. It does not show sample production or approval, a confirmed bulk order, production, QC, shipment, installation or customer feedback. Those later stages are intentionally not claimed.

The Client Requirement
The project required more than a product recommendation. The team needed a room-by-room direction covering decorative curtain layers, compact blind applications, motorization, control boundaries and the information required before fabrication. Because the source package was still in design coordination, every opening had to remain linked to final measurement, sample approval and shop-drawing review.
Engineering Inputs
- Interior design report and room-use information
- Architectural plans, elevations and sections
- MEP information relevant to power and control coordination
- Preliminary opening schedule and project requirements
Key Challenges
- Keeping preliminary drawing dimensions separate from production dimensions
- Coordinating curtain stacks, ceiling pockets and service access with the design intent
- Selecting different shading systems without treating one product as suitable for every room
- Defining the motor-side interface while the wider automation architecture remained open
Saiwenna Engineering Review
Saiwenna converted the project inputs into a room-by-room BOQ and preliminary proposal. The review compared layered motorized drapery, roller blinds, Roman blinds and 50 mm aluminum Venetian blinds according to the opening and room function. The document package also separated what could be quoted at this stage from what still required a project-team decision, including final fabrics, motor sides, opening directions, pocket details and interface responsibilities.
Product & System Configuration
The preliminary configuration used double motorized drapery where decorative layering and privacy were required, roller or Roman directions for selected openings, and 50 mm aluminum Venetian blinds for relevant compact or utility applications. These were quotation-stage selections, not production approvals. Final suitability depends on verified dimensions, selected materials, mounting conditions and approved control details.
Motor & Control Architecture
A dry-contact interface was the documented motor-side direction in the preliminary proposal. External KNX, RS485, gateway, feedback or third-party automation hardware was not included because the final control architecture had not been frozen. Any building-automation path must therefore be confirmed against the selected motor, controller and integrator responsibility matrix before order.
Documents Prepared
- Room-by-room preliminary BOQ
- Mixed-system preliminary proposal
- Technical and material appendix
- Open-item list for final measurement, samples, shop drawings and control confirmation

What This Case Demonstrates
This case demonstrates how Saiwenna can organize a complex residential design package into a controlled procurement workflow: identify inputs, compare systems by opening, define interface boundaries, prepare a quotation and make the remaining approval gates visible. It is evidence of project coordination, not a claim that the residence was supplied or completed.
